This year's ARA Administrator in Reading Award is being presented to Tracy Luttrell, Principal at Flippin Elementary School. Tracy will be honored at the annual Celebrate Literacy Luncheon with other ARA award and grant winners on July 24 at Harding University. She is invited to present a session at the ARA Conference in November.
Ms Luttrell devised a plan to help students with dyslexia. She trained her staff, started a summer program, and went on to become a dyslexia assessor. She has changed the world of reading for the students in the Flippin School District, according to those who nominated her.
