2023 Literacy Conference - July 26-27

Conference Dates:  July 26-27, 2023
Deadline to Submit:  April 5, 2023

Arkansas Literacy Association is currently seeking speaker proposals for this summer's conference. This year's theme is "Constructing Lifelong Readers and Writers."  Presentations will not be limited to this theme.

ALIGNMENT WITH RISE:  ALA is vetting all program proposals targeted for PreK- 6 for alignment with the state's RISE initiative. Approval of a program proposal will be based on the results of the vetting process. Presentation handout, presentation, or notes should be submitted for early approval.

AMENITIES:  One presenter will receive free conference registration; additional presenters must pay full registration costs.  

Speakers will be contacted by email regarding the status of their proposals by April 26.  Presentation content that has not been submitted by July 1 will not be approved.
